Paper Abstract:      More and more companies regonize the importance of web 2.0 as opportunity to increase their overall turnover A growing number of companies use web 2.0 technology based sites like facebook and/or twitter-. At A huge number of potential customers can be easily addressed through these portals, but the key to success is to understand how to apply the services correctly. It is important that the employees who are representing the company are well trained and understand how to maximize the success of these services. Based on the “grounded theory” as research method, the following study identifies different factors like profiling, personal motivation and so on, that are influencing companies’ success in using web 2.0 technology services.
