Paper Abstract:      We present an information customization framework which offers a unique hybrid of adaptive hypermedia and constraint satisfaction methods. We attempt information customization using a content adaptation approach whereby we select a set of hypermedia documents that conform to the user model and then we check to ensure that these selected documents present information which is factually consistent. A suite of constraint satisfaction methods is used to both select and check the factually consistency between selected documents. The end outcome is a HTML based customized information package that comprises multiple documents that are (a) selected based on the user-model; (b) are checked to satisfy factual, contextual and functional constraints between themselves; and (c) synthesized to form a customized information package that can be delivered over the WWW.
