Paper Abstract:
|
Brain-Computer Interfaces are currently one of the most challenging research topics in science. This derives from the fact that, in order to obtain reasonable results, a high-level of multidisciplinary knowledge must be obtained. The University campus then reveals itself as the perfect environment for knowledge integration in order to achieve the required multidisciplinarity. The integration of the multidisciplinary knowledge present in a variety of scientific areas should be an important part of any academic program not only aiming an empirical application but also to fill gaps in learning programs that otherwise would pass unnoticed. It is in this context that BCI systems should be increasingly inserted in the academic environment not only as a multidisciplinarity tool for knowledge but also as a valuable opportunity to produce concrete scientific results in such an important area. In this reflection paper, well show how this area of knowledge can not only be a new highlight in Academic formation but also be used as a mean to achieve relevant scientific knowledge |
