Paper Abstract:      Security is the important part that requires attention in any application development. Mobile agent technology has gained popularity in the world of computing to enable easiest way of service provisioning, information sharing and service recovery, but securing mobile agents, as they move from one machine to the other, has been the challenge that hinders full adoption of this technology by organizations. Security in multi-agent systems can be established based on trust when agents communicate, where one agent trusts the other for harmless execution. In this paper, we propose a reputation-based approach to ensure trustworthiness of agents that communicate in a CACIP based mobile environment. All agents that want to participate in a network must be authenticated and authorized in order to get access to resources. Therefore, we model reputation based trust management security mechanism to authenticate and authorize agents to access services
