Paper Abstract:
|
This paper introduces a new mechanism to improve the performance of KDC. One of the suggested improvements since KDC was established on 1979 is a hierarchical of KDC, where local KDCs may be established. In this paper we introduce a new mechanism for contacting KDC which results in decreasing the number of messages transferred between KDC and contacted parties. The new algorithm leads to low load on KDC as the production of session key will be done by one of the contacted parties. It also alleviates traffic on the network because of the reduced number of messages created and transferred. |
