Paper Abstract:
|
One approach for suiting the diverse and mutable interaction requirements in web software systems is to tailor the system according to changes in the context of use. This paper presents an approach to support the conception, design, implementation and deployment of tailorable software systems. The proposed approach supports designers since the clarification of the design problem and offers a norm-based structure to formalize the desirable tailorable behavior. Moreover, it makes possible the implementation of adaptive and adaptable software characteristics without asking users any specialized knowledge or specific tools. The approach was applied in the construction of a social network system and the tailorable features of this system were evaluated with real users. |
