Paper Abstract:
|
Current home automation systems present a classical triggerresponse pattern to the events perceived by their sensors, resulting in a purely reactive behaviour. This paper discusses the advantages of implementing intelligent home automation systems and proposes an agent-based approach that enables the definition of complex response scenarios based upon sensor perception and user defined behavioral rules. |
