Paper Abstract:
|
Adaptive Middleware for Intelligent Context-sensitive Applications (AMICA), presented in this paper is meant primarily
at providing generic infrastructure for ambient intelligent applications, aware of user/inhabitant emotional, physical and
cognitive context, as well as environmental (ambient) context. A unique context space AWACS (Adaptive, Weaklycoupled
Context Space) is used to host all relevant context elements - both affective and ambient ontologies, as well as
potential reflective/reactive action ontology. The most intelligent part of the infrastructure is the context manager itself,
capable of reasoning upon complex and highly dynamic context space and inferring the most appropriate reactive actions,
as well as learning from the previous history and behavioral patterns of involved users/inhabitants. The lowest service
layer, handling available sensors (or sensor networks) and actuators, is built in full compliance with OSGI standard. |
