Paper Abstract:
|
This paper sketches some ideas about improving the performance of java based mobile agent systems. The concept of reflection on java is a useful concept to provide flexibility and adaptability to such systems. Nevertheless, the current available reflection API on the JVM specification is far away from providing an acceptable performance in practical environments. Some alternatives are reviewed in order to research on java based mobile agents keeping the concept of reflection: that is, the capacity of a computing system to reason about and act upon itself defining a base-level and a meta-level. |
