Paper Abstract:      Adaptable learning is one of the didactic challenges of the new methodologies related both to distance learning and collaborative environments. In this paper we present a methodology for the personalization of the didactic material as respect to the audience type. First, , the author disseminates a number of assessment tests in order to define a uniform didactic proposal ; in this way, the student takes awareness of its better type and degree of learning . This allows the construction and the adjustment of the production of the didactic material to disseminate. The preliminary tests delineate three types of users: auditory, visual and kinetic. The 3 subclasses allow to build and manage the distance lesson and the construction of the didactic aids. The same materials are used by the students through collaborative environments, built for supporting distance learning activities. Eventually, the students themselves furnish, at the end of the course and in anonymous form, the impressions and the suggestions for the improvement of the didactic resources. The experimentation has been conducted at the virtual laboratory of the Department of Informatica e Sistemistica (DIS) of the University of Naples Federico II (Italy), involving hundred students during the last three years.
