Paper Abstract:
|
MO(bile)PASS(port) is a consortium lead by Japanese major electric appliance manufacturers for the next-generation IC-card standards. Its focus includes infrastructural middleware that bridges between the IC-card hardware and real e-Business applications. In the activities of MOPASS, the authors proposed a protocol set for access control applicable to a wide range of
e-Business applications (e.g. digital ticket, digital content consumption). The protocol is idealistically open and direct since it is based on a new methodology characterized by access rights being authenticated through direct usage of PKI. Furthermore, it covers revocation, transfer and split of access rights in a peer-to-peer manner. |
