Paper Abstract:      The purpose of this paper is to present a taxonomy of models for decision making that offer for applicability to e- Democracy projects, in particular the design of systems to be used in the delivery of e-Democracy contents to geographically and culturally distributed user communities. The necessity and reality of today´s multiple contractor, multiple funding sources, and multiple research team environment (i.e., multiple research teams) call for design and decision making frameworks that make possible “partitioning” a project into parts, one part for each team, so that each team carries its individual design and decision making on its own. Our on-going work on this model also includes a theoretical basis for integrating “best architecture designs” produced by the various teams into a single, final, best project architecture. In this paper we present and discuss some salient aspects of a decision making model intended for environments characterized by multiple decision makers, multiple objectives, and multiple research teams.
