Paper Abstract:
|
Paneda in Selje, Norway is among the foremost DAB technology companies in the world and works with warning
systems for citizen evacuation. Their alert technology will be part of the national warning system, but first research,
testing, evaluation and adjustment must take place. The case here is about the first test of the method, which has been
used in large ICT projects. In this first stage of the project pupils from a local school in Selje at the west coast of Norway
are involved in the development and implementation, with advice and direction of Western Norway Research Institute
and Paneda. The results also suggest that the structured and staged testing framework may also provide a framework for
local mobilisation, learning and implementation for new digital services. |
