Paper Abstract:
|
Through group decision making complex decision problems can be handled. Over more than three decades the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) has been successfully applied to such problems especially if many decision alternatives and criteria are to be considered. We first present a process model for AHP based group decision making that we derived from a practical view. We then analyze limitations of todays available AHP based group decision support systems (GDSS) with respect to decision scenarios where participants are separated in space and/or time. A concept for a GDSS system is then proposed that through Group Decision Scripts can automatically complete specific group moderation tasks and through Group Decision Wikis enables effective information sharing. |
