Paper Abstract:
|
Electronic paper is a new material technology for displays. It consists of a thin, flexible plastic foil containing an
arrangement of coloured particles for image creation. This technology will be used in the future for establishing the
Electronic Newspaper. Due to the expected costs of 300 to 800 Euros for the necessary device for the reception of the
Electronic Newspaper, it would seem necessary to establish a subvention model for readers and so realign the traditional
business model of newspaper publishing houses. Regarding different suggestions for selling the Electronic Newspaper to
readers, it might be helpful to propose various possibilities for elaborating such a subvention model. |
