Paper Abstract:
|
The purpose of this study is to consider the network conditions under which regional industry regenerates on its own. As a result, the problems of industrial clusters of regional industry are extracted and the direction of the solution is shown. The subject of analysis of this study is a regional textile industry cluster. In Japan, textile is the industry that imports products from the places where it exports automobiles and electrical goods. Therefore, the textile industry has been referred to as the industry that has been abandoned. In order for the textile industry to regenerate, it must use its own force. In Japan, the domestic textile industry is considered to have ceased to exist as an industry by importing inexpensive products from overseas. However, although the regional textile industry has been shrinking in size, it currently still exists. By the use of emergent innovation, out of all the clusters that still exist, two of the textile industry clusters are still maintained and developed, thus putting the brakes on the reduction. The textile industry cluster has succeeded in its own regeneration, though it has continued to decline when compared through network analysis. Comparison has shown that the conditions of this industrial cluster that can regenerate through innovation. |
