Paper Abstract:
|
A number of empirical studies of traffic measurements from a wide range of packet networks have verified that actual network traffics are self-similar or long-range dependent in nature in contrast to commonly made traffic modeling assumptions. This study deals with the statistical analyses of data networks. Statistical analyses including stationarity, self-similarity of aggregate traffic stream between METU-NET and the Internet were carried out. |
