Paper Abstract:
|
Manufacturing business is changing from capital-intensive and technology-intensive production to knowledge-intensive production. Developing semantics-based computer-aided manufacturing knowledge management becomes a key issue for realizing knowledge-intensive manufacturing. This paper analyzes knowledge requirements for semantic manufacturing knowledge management and presents a semantic manufacturing knowledge management system combining knowledge engineering and Semantic Web. In addition, this paper demonstrates the semantic manufacturing knowledge management system by applying a common manufacturing knowledge query. |
