The technology revolution is changing our life to become more electronic based. Everything is changing and that includes teaching and learning. Therefore, the concept of e-learning is becoming more popular and desirable, which is leading learning institutions to seek out recent technologies in order to enrich and support such a learning style. Cloud computing capabilities provide various opportunities that take e-learning to a new level. Different researches have been conducted to employ cloud computing to e-learning. In addition, many initiatives that are based on the cloud concept have been established to provide learning in a more open and flexible approach. This paper provides an overview of the recent research and initiatives in this field and introduces a vision of how the future of learning can be more open, sharable and accessible. |
