Paper Abstract:
|
The health and safety of drivers' labor is a factor associated with significant socio-economic implications and requires attention. Drivers are responsible for cargo and truck should take care about many possible deviations from normality. Aim of this paper is to search the actual situation of drivers in road freight transport sector on health and safety at work and a curriculum to be motivated for e-learning implementation at SMEs in road fright transport sector. A short analysis of researcher methods has been carried out. Combined approach by use qualitative and quantitative research to identifying training needs in transport sector has been chosen. Detailed research of Laws and Regulations in freight transport sector, current practice, and initiatives in training on health and safety at work has been presented. A structured interview with a group of drivers with different background, age, experience, educational level, and working in different parts of Bulgaria has been carried out. From economical point of view, it is useful the training on health and safety at work of drivers in road freight transport sector to be implemented by ICT. Such kind of training is not contrary to the low and can be adopted well by the target group in their practice. Relevant topics for drivers training are specified as well. |
