Paper Abstract:
|
Agents are an emerging technology that is gaining momentum in the field of distributed systems.
It provides powerful and effective mechanisms to develop applications in distributed systems. However, without proper security protection, especially against malicious host attack, the widespread use of the agent technology can be severely impeded. In this paper, we propose a new model that is able to protect the integrity of the mobile agents from attack by a malicious host.
The proposed model consists of a recorded state that is able to record all attacks that result in a different state, a distributed migration path that uses a
master-slave agent, and known and established security mechanisms |
