Paper Abstract:
|
Currently in the field of botany, it is extremely important to be able to extract results from the data contained in existing databases.
The main problems arise from the existence of large amounts of data which are both difficult to process and extremely interrelated.
The multi-agent system, acting independently, extracts extremely important information which is useful to the botanist, such as species richness. This multi-agent system accesses the information contained in the database, processes it and presents the relevant results. Results are extracted cooperatively among the agents comprising the system. The results obtained by the agents are therefore used to obtain new information and to produce biodiversity studies. |
