Paper Abstract:
|
The evaluation of ubiquitous computing services is important for preparing the commercially viable ubiquitous business
services that run on electronic markets. However, sophisticated methodologies for assessing the level of ubiquitous
service and systems are still very rare. Moreover, since technical assessment itself does not ensure the user acceptance
and actual usage of the ubiquitous computing services, a sort of behavioral assessment should be added. Hence, the
purpose of this paper is to propose a multi-layered model to assess levels of ubiquitous computing services. An
assessment of the current navigation services actually provided in Korea was performed with our model. The assessing
results could be used for service standardization so that the service provider rated highly may use the results to take the
initiative in doing ubiquitous business. |
