Paper Abstract:
|
The implementation of mobile solutions in field service processes in order to gain efficiency improvements becomes
more and more prevalent. The technology itself does not necessarily lead to an optimization but rather to misinvestments
because of an ignorance of process and user needs. In this paper, we develop a process-oriented procedure model which
enables the identification of requirements of service processes and derived optimization possibilities using mobile
technologies. The proposed model has been evaluated in a service division of an industrial company. |
