Paper Abstract:
|
This paper proposes a hybrid modular control architecture HMAS, aimed to be a conceptual framework for the design of complex behaviours of embodied agents. The approach is based on the behaviour-based control paradigm and combines advantages of several similar architectures known from the literature. It allows for building control structures with modules, which can work at different time scales due to the way they are interconnected. In order to demonstrate the features of the architecture, a proof-of-concept implementation is presented with a brief description of two experiments. |
