Paper Abstract:      The spectacular increase in the last years of the mobile networks and the advances in the technologies of voice and data have ended at a greater use of frequencies spectrum. High quality frequency assignments are crucial for the successful operation of today’s heavily loaded cellular phone networks. In this article are presented some solutions to optimize the allocation of frequencies using the Differential Evolution algorithm. This article also reports about the results obtained applying hybrid Differential Evolution to Philadelphia FAP instances.
