Paper Abstract:
|
The paper presents one of the outcomes of a project in the context of the Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund (AMIF)
2014-20 financial program, named Prevenzione 4.0 (Prevention 4.0). The project has been proposed by Apulia Region in
cooperation with the University of Bari and other private and public partners. The project aims to offer additional health
services to migrant in order to reinforce the National Health Services and to promote the migrant's selfcare to prevent
diseases and maintain health with the support of local health services. The proposed solution offers: some medical devices
useful to measure fundamental biometric parameters, a mobile app to both store the measures and to offer microlearning
contents for migrant's empowerment, and an information system to monitor all medical data collected in the various places
which host migrants. The paper presents a healthcare system to support migrants in taking care of their health. The system
is composed of a mobile app to supply information useful for well-being and to monitor biometric parameters, a locker in
which a set of electronic devices will be available, and an information system to store data and to monitor migrants' health. |
