Paper Abstract:
|
In this paper, we proposed a contention period scheduling algorithm in BWA system with multimedia traffic environments. In the proposed dynamic contention period scheduling algorithm, base station splits the contention sub-group using collision counters and requested traffic type, subscriber stations access the uplink contention periods considering their collision counter and request traffic type. The computer simulation indicates that the access delays of proposed algorithm is better than general random scheduling algorithm in bandwidth request of real time traffic. |
