Paper Abstract:
|
One of the major contributors for B-to-C electronic commerce success is building successful relationship with the
customers on the Internet. Considering the paucity of regulations and customs in online transactions, trust is believed to
be the key of successful relationships with customers on the Internet.
This paper proposes a conceptual model for trust formation in B-to-C electronic commerce based on the chemical
reactions. By mapping the processes included in trust formation in electronic commerce, the model aims at describing
those processes in an intelligible way. The model also aims at providing a framework for analyzing the factors that affect
the speed of trust formation process in electronic commerce and formulating that based on those factors. |
