Paper Abstract:
|
This work presents a framework for structuring knowledge base in intelligent tutoring systems (ITS) using case-based reasoning (CBR). This framework provides a basis to develop the domain model where the application knowledge are cases. Different similarity measures can be used to compare cases. The main goal is to investigate the use of CBR in the domain module and also the influence of different measures when cases are compared and the modeling, where distinct attributes define different cases to represent an specific knowledge. A case study based on a tutorial system to train helicopter pilots illustrates our approach. |
