Paper Abstract:
|
Clustering ensemble is one of the recent techniques in unsupervised learning which is proved to produce effective results. In this technique, different clustering results are obtained by running different clustering algorithms or by running the same algorithm with different initial parameters. These individual results are then combined in a meaningful way using a consensus function to produce the final clusters. The ultimate success of clustering ensemble technique is greatly dependant on this consensus function. We are conducting a survey on the existing literature on different methods of consensus function, and then, we are critically comparing among them. We believe that the survey results will be useful for researchers to conduct future research in this area. |
