Paper Abstract:
|
A mobility strategy for mobile Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) inspired by the foraging behaviour of herbivores
grazing pastures is presented. The Grazing Reference Point Group Mobility (GRPGM) which implements the proposed
mobility strategy is described and simulated. The strategy uses a centralized motion control algorithm where a
commander node controls the motion of the WSN. The performance criteria considered in the paper are connectivity and
coverage. All simulation results were obtained using a custom built WSN Simulator developed in house, which aims to
evaluate the performance of mobile WSN. |
