Paper Abstract:
|
Three-dimensional scanning devices allow obtaining object models using several capturing techniques. This task can be
carried out through stereovision, which is a 3D reconstruction method based on photographs. 3D reconstruction
techniques using light projection make use of a known light pattern over the scene; the shape of the objects can then be
deduced by the analysis of the projection. This paper presents an integral hardware/software solution to the 3D model
reconstruction problem which is portable and has a good cost/benefit balance. |
