Budapest, the city capital of Hungary is situated along the Danube, in the heart of the Carpathian basin. It was considered the Europe's Leading City Destination 2029 ( https://www.europeanbestdestinations.com/european-best-destinations-2019/ ). Divided in two and connected by the Danube River, the city is made up of mountainous Buda on one side with Ottoman-era thermal baths at the foot of Gellért Hill, the royal palace and Matthias Church. One the other side lies flatter Pest, vibrant and lively, with its slew of museums rich in cultural and historical treasures. Seven bridges and two railway bridges join Buda and Pest, and six islands on the Danube are located within city limits. Since 1987, the UNESCO World Heritage Committee has listed the view of the Danube embankments and the Buda Castle District – which is one of the most beautiful and romantic parts of the city of Budapest – as a World Heritage ( https://www.budapestinfo.hu/en ).

Budapest will host the 18 th Multi Conference on Computer Science and Information Systems (MCCSIS) during 13 to 15 July 2024. This annual event aims to address two main subjects: Computer Science and Information Systems and has different conferences according to several themes. The official language is English. All conferences are blind peer-reviewed and best paper authors will be invited to publish extended versions of their papers in the IADIS Journal on Computer Science and Information Systems that is indexed by Emerging Sources Citation Index (Thomson Reuters), the IADIS International Journal on WWW/Internet and other selected International Journals.

Every year we are joined by researchers, students, practitioners and other professionals from across the world, contributing to a great exchange of knowledge and experiences. Usually, this conference presents an opportunity to all their participants to discuss with success the most significant aspects regarding a number of topics of interest within each conference.
