Paper Abstract:
|
This poster briefly introduces an XML dialect to specify online questionnaires. XPath, XML Scheme, and XSLT technologies are used to validate and generate, from the XML description, the html representation of the questionnaire. Guided by XML declarations, the XSLT processor also generates JavaScript scripts to dynamically validate data introduced by the user. The defined XML dialect can easily be used to generate a questionnaire without any knowledge about html and JavaScript. Thus, the approach effectively helps on creating online questionnaires. |
