Paper Abstract:
|
Various manufacturers offer BPM suites that are powerful instruments in the automation of business processes. These are used in automation projects to create both functional and technical models of business processes. Typically, business process modeling and technical modeling are conducted in consecutive sub-projects and handled by different people. This article analyzes the difficulties that arise in the context of such a two-level approach and shows how these might be addressed using activity patterns and a customized process model. The proposed approach aims to combine the business process modeling and the technical modeling by allowing automated transformation to take place between the two models. |
